We’ve teamed up with Margate FC Community Trust to use the power of the game we love to help support local homeless men and women on and off the pitch. The PLYR X Margate FC Homeless Project.

Every Friday, our Ambassador and PLYR Co-Founder Anthony Sands leads a weekly football programme on the stadium pitch, supporting physical and mental health and wellbeing to those who need it most. These sessions are completely free, and where Margate FC facilities are often unused during the week, it makes the perfect environment to offer the opportunity to play sport, have access to hot showers, hot food, use the washing facilities at the club and access partner organisations and their professional staff members. The club also operate a clothes bank, as well as offering free tickets for Margate and Canterbury FC home league games.

We help support off-pitch too with help to find relevant accommodation and pathways into potential employment via training course delivered by Margate FC partner organisations.
